Folk Art Tree Collage - Art for Kids (in-person)
Trees are the stars of the fall season in Minnesota! As the colors change and leaves drop from branches, we notice the unique shapes of each tree and how they impact our environment. In this art lesson, we will create colorful tree collages using organic and geometric shapes. We will observe the differences between these types of shapes and practice cutting them in a free-form way. The layers of patterned and solid-color papers will create a beautiful and unique artwork that celebrates the fall season. Please plan to bring a mask as they may be required in the program space.
For children in grades K-5. Registration is required.
