Izzy Singer in Concert

Israel Singer, performing and recording as a one-man band under the moniker “As Iz”, plays many original songs, as well as selected cover tunes by artists such as the Beatles, Johnny Cash, and Tom Petty. Izzy, a multi-instrumentalist, writes and records his own material, and has a new album just released entitled “Children of the Cathode Ray.” He has been releasing self-produced music since 1989. Izzy’s musical style can be categorized as alternate folk rock. Izzy performs live playing guitar and singing, while simultaneously utilizing percussion instruments via foot pedals to achieve an overall rhythmic sound.
