Day of the Dead is a holiday celebrated in Mexico and elsewhere that’s associated with the Catholic celebrations of All Saints' Day (November 1) and All Souls' Day (November 2). This celebration involves gathering to pray for and to remember friends and family members who have died. It’s commonly portrayed as a day of celebration rather than mourning. (Adapted from Wikipedia article, Day of the Dead - 2021).
