Tai Chi
Thursdays, November 18 through December 30, 1:00 - 2:00 PM

Jim Cummings teaches the 24 movements of the Beijing Tai Chi form. Learn the fundamental movements as well as theory; improve balance, stability and overall health. Wear loose, comfortable clothing and soft-soled shoes. Register and pay online, or register in person at the Reference Desk. 6 classes, $15 total.

Managing Grief and Loss

Defensive Driving
Saturday, December 11, 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Course completion entitles you to a 10% discount on vehicle liability, personal injury protection, and collision insurance for three years; and a reduction of up to 4 points on your driving record every 18 months. Register at the Reference Desk with a $28 check or money order payable to Empire Safety Council.

All of our game clubs meet in person every Wednesday.
You must now register each newsletter period &
sign in each week you attend.
  • Mah-Jongg: 10 AM - 12 PM
  • Chess:         11 AM - 1 PM
  • Bridge:   12 - 2:30 PM
  • Canasta: 1 - 3:30 PM 
One or two game sets will be provided for each game,
or you may bring your own.
 
Services for Veterans and Job-Seekers
Helps veterans and their families navigate the VA bureaucracy, provides academic tutoring, and assists with employment transition.
Provides various tools to help with every step of the job search including résumé assistance, interview preparation, and career planning.
Both above services provide live virtual assistance every day
from 2:00 - 11:00 PM. A current library card is required.
