Sarah Newland, a licensed veterinary technician, is the author of the new young adult/new adult adventure series The Coelacanth Project. Her books revolve around the difficult transition into adulthood, conquering inner demons, and discovering powerful friendships. She hopes to promote a love of reading and brain-active living. When she isn't writing or  working, Newland and her husband love to travel and dote upon their three fur-babies: Big Kitty, Little Kitty, and Meowse. She's surprisingly good at pinball.
