Hello South Country Community, Please note that as of December 13, 2021, New York State has issued an indoor mask requirement for public places, including libraries. The library will be closed on Friday, December 24 through Sunday, December 26, and from 1:00 PM on Friday, December 31 through Sunday, January 2. Happy Solstice, Merry Christmas, and Happy Kwanzaa. Each game is available to the first twenty participants, and closes at 9:00 PM on the last day.

Our Give or Take Food Pantry is located in the lobby, and available for those in need to obtain food items anytime the library is open.

We have a bin in the lobby where you can donate non-perishable food to help keep the pantry stocked. Thank you for your generosity!

Raeanne Harris is our social work intern from Stony Brook University. She can help with information, referrals, and paperwork for housing, treatment, social services, unemployment, food pantries, and more.

SMART Recovery® is science-based support for those with any addiction/addictive behavior to learn tools and create a personal plan for change. SMART Recovery® Family and Friends SMART Recovery® Family and Friends meetings will be available to library patrons (January start date, location & time T.B.D.). If you use the OverDrive app to borrow ebook & audiobooks, it's time to switch to Libby. OverDrive is being phased out; the Libby app will replace it in the coming months.

Services for Veterans and Job-Seekers

Helps veterans and their families navigate the VA bureaucracy, provides academic tutoring, and assists with employment transition.
|
Provides various tools to help with every step of the job search including résumé assistance, interview preparation, and career planning.
|
|
Both above services provide live virtual assistance every day from 2:00 - 11:00 PM. A current library card is required.
