Attention teens in grades 9 - 12: Registration is now open for Advanced Battle of the Books! Join us as we compete against the other libraries of Suffolk County. This years' books are Empress of a Thousand Skies by Rhoda Belleza and Truly Devious by Maureen Johnson. Team practices begin on January 6; competition will be in February (date TBA).

Local Goverment 101 Tuesday, January 18, 7:00 - 8:00 PM in the downstairs community room Earn 1 Community Service Hour!

How does the Suffolk County government work? How does it differ from our federal and state governments? This program will analyze the results of the 2021 election, and see how and why our community voted the way that they did. We will discuss how a bill becomes a law, and how you can get involved and speak out on local issues. This program will be educational and nonpartisan.

Teen Book Club Tuesday, January 25, 4:00 PM The Inheritance Games by Jennifer Lynn Barnes When a Connecticut teenager inherits vast wealth and an eccentric estate from the richest man in Texas, she must also live with his surviving family and solve a series of puzzles to discover how she earned her inheritance.
