Overcoming a poor education, a tough father and a series of misfires, Homer turns his dreams of building a rocket into reality in this incredible true story of hope, determination and triumph. Loads of fun, great acting, and a very touching movie. This movie is 1 hour and 48 mins and is rated PG.

This family friendly movie is featured as part of our NASA @ My Library programming. This movie is an adaptation of Homer H. Hickam Jr's book, Rocket Boys.
