Join fellow authors to write and constructively criticize each other's work. A piece of writing is due each session. Register at the Reference Desk and receive your first assignment, due at the beginning of the first class.
 
 
The Civil Rights Movement on Long Island

History Professor Christopher Verga, author of Civil Rights on Long Island, will discuss events on Long Island spanning the 1950s through the 1970s, including boycotts and other measures aimed to end local discriminatory practices, which paralleled civil rights events in the American South. Services for Veterans and Job-Seekers
Helps veterans and their families navigate the VA bureaucracy, provides academic tutoring, and assists with employment transition.
Provides various tools to help with every step of the job search including résumé assistance, interview preparation, and career planning.
Both above services provide live virtual assistance
every day from 2:00 - 11:00 PM. A current library card is required.
