Library News
from South Country Library
February 8, 2022

Building community by sharing the wonders of learning, creating, and connecting with one another.

Hello South Country Community,

Adults, as of January 2020, it is NY law that all motorboat operators complete a boat safety course. If you haven't taken care of that -- here's your chance. (available for minors, too)

Teens, who knows their romance movies? Try our February raffle (win candy!) in person at the library, or virtually right here.

Families with children, our in-person programs and take-home kits continue to bring the fun and creativity. Don't miss our mixed media winter art project!

The library will be closed for Presidents' Day on Monday, February 21.

We hope you're enjoying this milder weather. Looks like we're getting another cold snap around Valentine's Day!

P.S. The library has the 2021 Federal 1040 and 1040-SR tax forms available. We hope to have NY State forms soon. While we are not offering tax assistance here this year, we encourage you to view our tax resource page.
