Pen Pal Exchange Program South Country Library and Lunenburg Library in Nova Scotia have arranged a pen pal match for patrons to exchange letters. We provide kits with stationery and writing prompts. Letters will be sent to/from the libraries; you will receive notice to pick up your letter. Register & pick up your kit at the Reference Desk now. Bring your written letter back to us by March 31.

Boating Safety Course Saturday, March 26, 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM This U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary-instructed course includes their safety book and grants a certificate upon completion.

Bring a snack and drink. Register in person at the Reference Desk with a check or money order payable to USCG AUX. Fee: $40 adults, $35 under 18. NY Boating Safety Certificate Requirements Anyone born on or after Jan. 1, 1988 needs a certificate this year. A boating safety certificate will be needed: in 2023 for those born on or after 1/1/83. in 2024 for those born on or after 1/1/78. in 2025 for ALL motor boat operators regardless of age. |

Helps veterans and their families navigate the VA bureaucracy, provides academic tutoring, and assists with employment transition.

Provides various tools to help with every step of the job search including résumé assistance, interview preparation, and career planning.
|

Both above services provide live virtual assistance every day from 2:00 - 11:00 PM. A current library card is required.
