You go, you have a travel guide that lists ten to two dozen places to eat in say, ‘Madrid’ but being short on time and long on anxiety’ you close your eyes and poke down to the page and say ‘THIS is the ONE’. You selected it, then the others who are also clueless, fall in line and follow you to the “Pickled Bull”. They came, sat down, and selected a meal, a dinner that in the end, after napkins had been collected, could have been much better. Use this book instead: Lonely Planets’ Best Places to Eat in Every Country 2022. It gives you at least three to five restaurant choices in each country. each an award winner. Trust Lonely Planet to have compiled the best dining spots in every country of the world. Leave the book “Best Places to Eat in Every Country” behind (it is too heavy), just copy the pages where you are going and take them... have a great trip. Highly recommended.
