Cobourg Ecology Garden — A Work of Heart

Cobourg Ecology Garden

The Cobourg Ecology Garden was founded in 1996 by local citizen Minnie Pennell and, though it’s a Town park, it’s been maintained by volunteers right from the start. The Garden demonstrates chemical-free organic methods for growing a broad range of plants – from vegetables and herbs, to Prairie grasses, to hardy native species. It’s a place to learn, share ideas and rekindle a sense of wonder at nature’s complexity and beauty. Stroll through the Garden, sit in the gazebo, listen to the birds, savour the peace of this urban oasis.

A place to relax, socialize, learn and discover.
