Hello South Country Community, Do you need to do a COVID-19 test before a springtime get-together? Suffolk County has given the library test kits to give to anyone in need. Individuals may take up to three boxes, each containing two test kits. Come to the Patron Services desk to pick up these free kits. Leftover items from the Friends of the Library Book Sale are available downstairs for a limited time. An optional small donation to the Friends Group is encouraged and may be made at the Patron Services desk. Don't miss the Truck Stop Gypsies concert this Friday! Indoor Concert Truck Stop Gypsies Friday, April 22, 7:00 - 8:30 PM in-person & socially distanced Husband and wife duo Lauren & Chuck Ware are finally here to perform, after being postponed at the beginning of the pandemic. The Truck Stop Gypsies acoustic duo will perform their own variation of roots-influenced soulful blues, bebop, rock, retro, tear-your-heart-out songs and anything else they really like!

Cast Your Vote for our Outdoor Movies Vote for your top two movies for our summer movie nights! The two movies that receive the most votes will be shown Friday, July 22nd at South Country Ambulance Company & Wednesday, August 24th at the Bellport Bandshell. at the Patron Services desk at the library. Voting ends Sunday, May 15.

The Library has a Notary Public Available Tuesdays through Thursdays by appointment. Call (631) 286-0818 ext. 222 to schedule an appointment. Fee: $2.00 per notarized signature

Services for Veterans and Job-Seekers
|
|
Helps veterans and their families navigate the VA bureaucracy, provides academic tutoring, and assists with employment transition.
|
Provides various tools to help with every step of the job search including résumé assistance, interview preparation, and career planning.
|
|
Both above services provide live virtual assistance every day from 2:00 - 11:00 PM. A current library card is required.
