Learn About Foreign Interference in US Elections: How it Happens and What We Can Do About it

Marek Posard of the Rand Corporation has conducted a  series of studies on Russia’s strategy for interfering in U.S. elections. He also developed a machine-learning toolkit to detect whom Russia is targeting on social media. And he and his team assessed—in a controlled experiment—how people react to and engage with Russia's online propaganda. He will discuss his research and its implications for all of us who want to see fair elections and also begin to heal the political climate.
