Paint by Numbers Kit  
Registration opens July 5
 
Create a mountain sunset landscape using acrylic paints on 12x16-inch rolled, wrinkle-free canvas. Images vary. Suitable for beginner level adults.
Register with a South Country card July 5 through 30, while supplies last. Pick-up at the Reference Desk begins Monday, August 1. Unclaimed kits go to the waitlist Monday, August 8.
 
 
New Home Buyer Seminar
Wednesday, July 6, 7:00 - 8:30 PM

Financial Literacy Presenter Veronica Ferrero explains ten steps to buying a home which include: how to check your credit report, figure out how much you can afford, get pre‐approved by a lender, and what to expect at the home inspection and on closing day.
This seminar also identifies the most important things that first-time homebuyers should know and be prepared for.

Herb Workshop at HOG
319 Beaver Dam Road, Brookhaven
Saturday, July 9, 10:00 - 11:30 AM
 
Gather at The HOG (Hamlet Organic Garden) Farm for a guided Walk-and-Talk through the herb beds. Join a conversation about the health benefits of some common culinary herbs and learn a few simple preservation and preparation techniques.

Services for Veterans and Job-Seekers
Helps veterans and their families navigate the VA bureaucracy, provides academic tutoring, and assists with employment transition.
Provides various tools to help with every step of the job search including résumé assistance, interview preparation, and career planning.
Both above services provide live virtual assistance
every day from 2:00 - 11:00 PM. A current library card is required.
