Seeking Volunteers!
The Friends of the Desmond-Fish Public Library is a volunteer-run membership based organization who support the Library's mission to serve everyone in the community through quality programs, collections, and community building opportunities!

The Friends of the DFPL are a fun and diverse group of community members who are dedicated to supporting the library and our community.

We need volunteers for the Annual Book and Media Sale:
SET UP: July 29th - August 17th - Sort and shelve donations ahead of the sale (no Sundays)
DURING THE SALE: August 19 - 29, 2022
KNOCK DOWN: August 30th - September 3rd - Pack up the remaining items for further donation.

Interested in getting involved with the Friends in another volunteer capacity? Check below any committees you would like to learn more about. 
The Communications Committee is committed to increasing awareness of the Friends of the Library and our our activities through print, web, and social media campaigns. 
The  Membership Committee is committed to finding new members and supporting current ones.
The Hospitality Committee helps out with Friends-sponsored events including our annual Booksale Opening Night and Holiday Parties.
