Library News
from South Country Library
September 6, 2022

Building community by sharing the wonders of learning, creating, and connecting with one another.

Hello South Country Community,

Teens, there's a new monthly raffle -- how well do you know your back-to-school movies? High schoolers -- do you like books and trivia? Join our Advanced Battle of the Books team!

Families with Children, a new month means a great new batch of in-person programs, including a Storytime & Nature Hike at Wertheim and a Mystery Storytime & Craft series.

Adults, do you need to brush up on your MS Word or Excel skills?  Or how about some company while working on your next knitting or crochet project? Also, our Writer's Workshop is starting back up -- register at the Reference Desk to receive your first assignment.

We hope you had a happy Labor Day weekend, and that your school year starts smoothly.

Supplies are depleted in our
Give or Take Food Pantry
We are down to a handful of items. We will very gratefully accept donations in the bin in our lobby. Please help us help your neighbors in need with non-perishable food to help re-stock the pantry. Thank you for your generosity!
We are struggling to replenish our shelves. When we are able to do so, our Give and Take Food Pantry will be located in the lobby, available for those in need to obtain food items anytime the library is open.
