Contest: Don't Let the
Pigeon Drive the Bus!
Through the end of September
The pigeon is driving a school bus in the Children's Department. Kids can find him, tell a librarian, and be entered into a raffle. One entry per child per day. The winner will be randomly selected.

Pumpkin Storytime at Glover Farms
Wednesday, October 12, 4:30 PM
OR Monday, October 17, 10:30 AM

Transportation is not provided.
 
Join us at Glover Farms to hear some favorite fall stories and pick your own pumpkin! Only children who are registered for this program will receive a pumpkin.
Registration opens October 1. Please only sign up for
one session to allow other families a chance to attend.
Raindates are scheduled if needed.
 
 
 
Storytime & Hike at CEED
Saturday, October 15, 10:30 - 11:30 AM
287 South Country Road, Brookhaven
Transportation is not provided.
 
For children in grades Pre-K - 5
with an adult. Join us at the
Center for Environmental Education
and Discovery for a nature storytime
and a guided walk afterwards.
Registration opens October 1.
 
 
 
A Visit to the Firehouse
Friday, October 21, 10:00 - 11:00 AM
 
For children ages 2 - 5 with an adult.
We will be visiting the Bellport Fire Department for a tour.
Meet at the library at 10 AM and we'll walk down together.
Tour begins at ~10:30 AM. The event will happen rain or shine,
so dress accordingly. Registration opens October 1.
 

 
1000 Books Before Kindergarten
Newborn - Pre-K
Register in person at the Children's Desk.
Read books to your child at
your own pace and earn prizes.

 
Kids Birthdays
We love to make kids feel
special for their birthday!
During your child's birthday month, let us know at the Children's Desk so we can put their name on a paper candle on the bulletin board birthday cupcake, and give them a birthday sticker.
