The South Branch Library will be hosting an Animal Storytime, presented by the MSPCA of Boston, on Tuesday, September 27th from 3:30 to 4:30PM. Animal Storytime is an interactive program for children ages 4 to 8 and their caretakers in which they learn how to be gentle and safe with animals. We will read stories, sing songs, and play games. An animal may be present for the children to pet.

The MSPCA is a national and international leader in animal protection and veterinary medicine and provides direct hands-on care for thousands of animals per year. Through their humane education programs, the MSPCA strives to help children develop empathy and a sense of justice, increase their understanding of personal responsibility for animals, people and the environment, and become motivated to make a positive difference in the world.
