Neal Cobb is a passionate historian and honorary curator for the Nevada Historical Society. He loves all things Nevada. Join Neal Cobb and our monthly speakers as we explore interesting topics and join in the audience conversations.

Promoting the Significance of North Central Nevada History Within a Museum and a Community with Dana Toth, Executive Director of Humboldt Museum in Winnemucca, Nevada. She will discuss history, community, and the efforts to unite the two in Winnemucca, Nevada.

October Speaker: Dana Toth

Dana Toth has been the Executive Director of Humboldt Museum since 2011 and the Chairperson of Winnemucca’s Historic Resources Commission (HRC) since its inception in 2019. Graduating in 2005, she studied anthropology and urban/regional planning at Eastern Washington University and at the University of Nevada, Reno. During course study at UNR, Dana engaged in volunteer work at the Fourth Ward School Museum in Virginia City, where her passion for Nevada history was solidified.
