Abstract:
Suzuki is just an ordinary man until his wife is murdered. To get answers and vengeance, Suzuki abandons his law-abiding lifestyle as a teacher of mathematics and takes a low-level job with a front company operated by the crime gang Maiden, who are responsible for his wife's death. Before long, Suzuki finds himself caught up in a network of quirky and highly effective assassins: The Whale convinces his victims to take their own lives, using just words. The Cicada is a cunning knife expert. The Pusher dispatches his targets by arranging deadly traffic accidents. To get justice, Suzuki must take on each of the three assassins while struggling to maintain his moral center in this world of killers. Intense and electrifying, Three Assassins firmly establishes Kotaro Isaka as a master of the edgy and stylish modern thriller while delivering a wild ride thorugh the criminal underworld of Tokyo.
