Library News
from South Country Library
November 15, 2022
Building community by sharing the wonders of learning, creating, and connecting with one another.
Hello South Country Community,
Thank you to everyone who donated for the Great Give Back! All items from the supply drive and money from Pennies for Pets were donated to Almost Home Animal Rescue. We raised a total of $185! And here are the great items we collected:
Teens -- make your own notebook when you learn French link stitch bookbinding. Adults -- bring your friends and fiber crafts to our Knit & Crochet Circle. Families with children -- make sure to drop by for our Do a Dot Turkey craft.

The Library will close for Thanksgiving at 5:00 PM on Wednesday, November 23, and will reopen on Friday, November 25 at 9:30 AM.

Happy Thanksgiving to all!

We are happy to welcome the South Country String Band for their first library show. Greg Smith, Larry Sribnick, and Hank Stone are good friends and fine local musicians who favor local venues. SCSB plays an eclectic mix of styles (pop, folk, and traditional) and original tunes with engaging harmonies. Audience participation is encouraged.
