Author, Roger Litwiller Presentation

Join Roger Litwiller as he talks about Trenton’s Own Ship, HMCS TRENTONIAN. This Royal Canadian Navy corvette was named for our community and fought in the Battle of the Atlantic and the Normandy Invasion during the Second World War. Roger is an experienced naval historian and has lectured across Canada. He has authored the books, Warships of the Bay of Quinte and White Ensign Flying -the story of HMCS TRENTONIAN. Roger’s work has been published in several Canadian and International magazines. Copies of Roger‘s books will be available for purchase, or if you have a copy, bring it with you to be signed.

Earn prize ballots for each challenge you participate in. Get an extra prize ballot for fully completed challenges! Pick a challenge sheet to print using the links below. 

Bring back your challenge sheet(s) to either library branch between December 16, 2024 and January 3, 2025 to be entered into a prize draw. No registration required. Adult reading challenge but teens ages 13 and above may also participate.

Socrates

Join the Socrates group to discuss a topic in the Socrates method of cooperative critical thinking dialogue. The group currently meets in the Activity Room at the Trenton Branch of the Quinte West Public Library on the second and fourth Tuesday of the month.
