ExPLORE (Experiment, Play, Learn, Observe, Read, Examine) is a series of monthly hands-on science workshops for children in grades 4-6, covering a wide variety of topics.

Meeting at the Wollaston Branch Library on the 3rd Wednesday of each month from 6:30-8:00 pm each workshop has a short portion of instruction and then exploration and experimentation. Topics range from forensic science to bubbles and parents/caregivers are welcome to participate as well alongside their children.

For February we will be exploring forensic science by examining fingerprints, looking at soil samples under a microscope, and doing some color chromatography to break down ink samples.
