At Peers With STEM Careers, high school and college students are invited to explore STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math) pathways at FREE series of career talks at Gizmo. Experience the wide diversity of STEM professions by hearing directly from experts in those fields. Every session features a peer to talk about their career and how they made it there. You'll hear about what it's like to to work in a certain field as well as advice on how to pursue this career for yourself.
At our kick-off PWSC event, you'll hear from Occupational Therapist Robin VanHouten. Occupational therapy is a healthcare profession that helps people of all ages with injuries, illness or disability adapt to the tasks of school, work and life through occupational (everyday) activities. Hear what it's like to work in this unique and impactful career field from Robin!
Age: All ages welcome. Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
