Women’s History:
Deborah Read Franklin
Book Discussion & Lecture
Thursday, March 30, 6:30 - 8:30 PM
 
Stories like that of Deborah Franklin help us to imagine women’s lives in history, recognize their contributions, and examine obstacles that obscure women's history. Franklin's story is told in Nancy Rubin Stuart's 2022 book Poor Richard's Women: Deborah Read Franklin and the Other Women behind the Founding Fathers.

At 7:00 PM, historian JoAnn Tufo will join us via Zoom to share her knowledge of Mrs. Franklin, whom she has researched and portrayed in character for much of her career. Light refreshments will be served. 
 
Those attending online (skipping the book discussion) will receive the Zoom link on the day of the program.

Join our Alzheimer’s and Dementia Caregiver Support Group, presented by Family & Children's Association and Parker Jewish Institute’s Willing Hearts, Helpful Hands, for caregivers of loved ones with dementia or Alzheimer's disease. Meetings provide individuals caring for someone with either disease opportunities to meet with other caregivers, participate in educational programs, and have questions answered about their loved one's care.

Helps veterans and their families navigate the VA bureaucracy, provides academic tutoring, and assists with employment transition.
Provides various tools to help with every step of the job search including résumé assistance, interview preparation, and career planning.
