This year Michelle Yeoh made history as the first Asian woman to win an Oscar award for the best actress for her role in Everything Everywhere All At Once. This month we celebrate her win by screening some of her films. Ms. Yeoh is a Malaysian-born global movie star, with a background as a martial artist, athlete, ballet dancer, pianist, beauty queen (Miss Malaysia 1983), and hardcore action star all rolled into one.

Description:  Tomorrow Never Dies is a 1997 James Bond film starring Pierce Brosnan in his 2nd outing as Bond. In it, media mogul Elliot Carver (Jonathan Pryce) wants his news empire to reach every country on the globe, but the Chinese government will not allow him to broadcast there. Carver doesn't take no for an answer and plans to use his media empire to fuel flames of war between the Western world and China. Thankfully, James Bond (Pierce Brosnan) is on to the insane news tycoon and travels to China to stop him with the help of Chinese secret agent Wai Lin (Michelle Yeoh).
