Introduction to Forest Therapy

6:30 PM - 7:30 PM

Event Details

Join us on a guided, introduction to Forest Therapy walk. Forest Therapy is a research-based framework for supporting wellness through immersion in forests and other natural environments. Forest therapy is inspired by the Japanese practice of Shinrin-Yoku, which translates to 'forest bathing.' Studies have demonstrated a wide array of health benefits to this practice. Forest Therapy builds on those benefits and looks beyond, exploring what happens when people remember that we are part of nature, not separate from it. Join us for a time of learning, reflection and a restorative walk through the forest.
