Japanese Paper Marbling: Suminagashi
Get your groove on and make some wonderful wavy paper art in this fun introductory marbling program! We will first learn about the fascinating history of suminagashi and how it was used historically in Japan. Then we will get a chance to try it ourselves. We will float oil based colors on water and then use paper to capture our gorgeous designs. Participants can expect to leave with around 5 decorative papers that can be used for other papercrafts, cards, or just kept as wonderful works of art!
