Preschool storytime is designed just for kids who are 4 – 5 years old! This storytime uses the five early literacy practices- sing, talk, read, write, and play. Each storytime features a letter, books that are a little longer and a little more complex to get us ready to sit in a classroom, and lots of fun rhymes and songs. After storytime, we play!

On Wednesday April 24 from 4-6, we'll put out extra laptops so that elementary kids can all play together on the library's very own private Minecraft server! 

 Join Limited Edition Book Club: Poisoned Prose. In this three-part discussion series we'll discuss titles featuring tales of poisons & their dangerous consequences.

April 24th: "The Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie" by Alan Bradley
May 22nd: "A Taste for Poison" by Neil Bradbury
June 26th: "The Sign of Four" by Arthur Conan Doyle

Ready, Set Kindergarten! is a program for kids who are entering kindergarten in Fall 2024.  Each week, kids will earn a new letter, a kindergarten readiness concept, work on numbers, participate in hands-on activities, and parents will receive a worksheet to take home with suggestions of activities to do with their children.

Toddler Time is designed for children in the 18mo to 3yo age group. We know that this age group gets the wiggles, so there are lots of opportunities for movement and books that are appropriate for their attention span followed by playtime!

Teens in 6th – 12th grade, join us for a fun craft!  This month we are making paintings using the tissue paper transfer method.
