Homeschool Mini Conference In-Person

Come spend the day at the library, in Wilma's Realm, with other homeschoolers to chat, plan, learn, swap supplies, and encourage each other as you prepare for (or continue) your school year!

There will be morning activities, a lunch break, and afternoon activities.

The Morning Session (10:00-12:00) will include:

Writing Strategies that Work for Everyone! with Emmy Bonds of Emerged Learning

Homeschool Graduate Q & A - your chance to ask adults who experienced homeschool in their youth what it was like and what they do now!

From 12:00 – 2:00 pm, we will break for lunch. The Curriculum Exchange in Meeting Room 1 will be open during the lunch break.

Conference attendees can eat lunches in Wilma's Realm or outside the library. 

The Afternoon Session (2:00-4:00) will include: 

Library Resources for Homeschool and Fall Program Preview  with Ms. Amanda, Youth Specialist for Homeschool for the Community Library Network 

Homeschooling, Entrepreneurship and Creativity with Noah Johnson of Nomich Games

Throughout both sessions of the conference, we will be drawing for prizes which include:

  • KiwiCo kits
  • educational toys
  • tools
  • games
  • and more!
