The Library offers free passes to select museums on Long Island & in NYC. We also provide access to discounted tickets to the Long Island Aquarium, the Bronx Zoo, & the Watch Hill Ferry.

Print-on-Demand passes include the Harbes Barnyard Adventure, Sagtikos Manor, and the LI Science Center. Passes may be booked 30 days in advance. Click here and use the drop-down menu to choose your date and destination.

Sign Up to be a Literacy Volunteer Are you interested in helping an English speaker learn to read and write? The Library is looking for volunteers with instructional experience. You can open countless doors for someone else by offering the gift of literacy. Interested persons should complete this application and contact Jack in the Reference Department at 631-286-0818 ext 1.

Passport Services by Appointment We serve first-time applicants, minor applicants, adult applicants whose most recent passport was issued as a minor, and applicants who have lost their passports.

Hours are by appointment only. You may also call us at 631-286-0818 x1. Our service cannot renew a passport. Printed forms are available by the Reference Desk.

Services for Veterans and Job-Seekers
|

Helps veterans and their families navigate the VA bureaucracy, provides academic tutoring, and assists with employment transition.
|
Provides various tools to help with every step of the job search including résumé assistance, interview preparation, and career planning.
|
|
Each service provides live virtual assistance every day from 2:00 - 11:00 PM. A current library card is required.
