Summer Drop-In Activities Video Game Hangout Thursdays @ 2pm - July 6 to August 17 Join us to play games with your friends and family using the library's Nintendo Switch! Enjoy our selection of board games while you wait to play with the console. Ages 6+. No registration required. Silly Critter Creator July 3 to August 18 Create a silly critter by rolling a dice! Name your creature and the library will add it to its silly critter collection! All ages. No registration required. Weekly Activities July 3 to August 18 Drop-in each week during open hours and explore a new activity to do in the branch or take home each week. All ages. No registration required.

The Potato Family are supposed to be having a family reunion but they all ended up at different Elgin County Library Branches! Author Visit with J. Ivanel Johnston Thursday, September 7 6:30-7:30pm Save the date for an evening with author J. Ivanel Johnson to discuss her JUST (e)STATE mystery series. The series takes inspiration from the villages of Port Burwell and Straffordville with the majority of the action occurring near the old train trestle bridge between Straffordville and Eden under which the author grew up.
