Participate in the Great Pumpkin Character Contest! At home, decorate a small pumpkin as your favorite book character and bring the decorated pumpkin to the Main Library Children’s Room for display. Please no pierced or cut pumpkins, they spoil too quickly.

Pumpkins may be dropped off at the main library children’s room from Tuesday, October 10th to Monday October 16th. Each pumpkin will be awarded a special ribbon. Will your pumpkin be the Shiniest, the Scariest, the Cutest or…something else?

Pick up your pumpkin between Monday, October 23rd and Saturday, October 28th to see what award your pumpkin has won and so that you will have it to enjoy at home on Halloween.
