Family Engineering Night with The Works Museum
Join our special guest, The Works Museum, as we explore simple engineering through fun activities including...
- Building towers using 4-sided squares Wedgits: One of the most popular building toys at The Works Museum.
- Building and testing Mini-Catapults* to fling a projectile; test and re-design to make the projective travel farther. *This activity uses low-temp hot glue guns, and takes about 15 minutes to complete.
- Working in adult-child teams to build amazing free-standing structures using 2 simple materials during the Super Stick Structure Team Challenge.
Geared toward 6-12. Registration is requested but not required. The activities will be available from 6-7:30. Email splys@ci.stillwater.mn.us with any questions.
