Booklist Review
This appealing board book playfully encourages a wide variety of movement inspired by animals. Each two-page spread features a gentle, stylized illustration of an animal in muted tones, while the straightforward text invites little ones to emulate something about the way that creature moves around its environment--"Now you're a playful puppy, rolling across the ground. Can you wag your tail?" "Crawl like a turtle, inching across the floor. How slow can you go?" The animal-centered, gamelike approach will likely be a hit with kids who need to move their bodies (and the adults who want them to burn off some energy).Author notes provided by Syndetics
