Register for a chance to check out tickets to the Alabama Symphony Orchestra with our Culture Pass!

Register with your library card from January 12 - 14 for a chance to check out a pair of tickets to the Alabama Symphony Orchestra's Masterworks series. Ticket holders are chosen by random drawing and awarded two (2) tickets. All entries during the registration period are treated the same regardless of date or time of entry.  One entry per library card, please. Ticket holders will be notified on January 15 with tickets available for pickup January 16 - 23 at the Library Plaza desk. Ludwig van BeethovenPiano Concerto No. 4 in G Major

Anton BrucknerSymphony No. 6 in A Major

Guest artist Conrad Tao has been dubbed “the kind of musician who is shaping the future of classical music” by New York Magazine, and an artist of “probing intellect and open-hearted vision” by The New York Times. Watch as he performs Beethoven’s beautiful and almost improvisational Piano Concerto No. 4 in G Major. The sublime work allows the listener to enter a “magical and quietly intimate world of shimmering colors.” The ASO will also perform Bruckner’s dynamically sublime Symphony No.6 in A Major.
