Trees Triumph Over Adversity

Wednesday, January 176:30—7:30 PMMeeting RoomNorwell Public Library64 South Street, Norwell, MA, 02061

Join us for a moment to marvel at the incredible resilience and strength of trees and how they embody the essence of overcoming adversity. Just as trees embrace the storms of life with intertwined roots and branches, so too do we face life's challenges with the strength drawn from our connections. The forest, with its diverse array of trees, represents the richness of our human tapestry. Our varied backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives are the roots that bind us together, reinforcing our shared resolve to overcome adversity. Trees rise from the soil to touch the sky, so too can we rise above our challenges and reach for the stars. Let us cultivate the resilience of trees, the wisdom of experience, and the power of our thoughts to transform adversity into triumph using trees as our guide.

Known by some, loved by many, as The Grateful Gardener – Todd Breitenstein has been gardening in all fashions since he was a toddler in the family garden. Todd has grown everything from moss to sea kale. He has studied ecology, conservation, and permaculture and is a NOFA organic land care professional. His interest in native plants grew through companion planting in his vegetable garden. If you see someone off the path in the woods turning logs to smell the earth, it’s probably Todd. A tree hugger thru and through; talking about natural gardens is his calling.
