The 1619 Project, a book by Nikole Hannah-Jones that explores the role of slavery in the US and its legacy, has been transformed into a Hulu miniseries. Judith A. Beville, MPA has over thirty years’ leadership experience in local government, nonprofit organizations and education with extensive background in organizational and events planning, implementation, development, supervision, teaching, training, program design and assessment. 

Jon Hirsch is the principal at Irvington High School. Previous professional experiences include being principal at Valhalla High School and assistant principal at Ardsley High School. He was a history and political science major at Drew University, where he studied under the tutelage of Dr. Lily Edwards whose research was part of the 1619 Project.
