I can't download audiobooks. The download starts, runs for 15-20 min, then restarts. I've tried everything to make this work on both my 2 Android phones that previously had no problems with downloading audiobooks. So, I can't listen in a car, on an airplane, or any place that doesn't have solid internet. While listening online,it skips as it's done since day 1. The original Overdrive app worked well. Libby was difficult to use as the UI is very confusing, so I would have given it 2 stars.

I use Libby as an accompaniment to Audible. If I love the book and would like to reread it, or the wait is too long, I will purchase it from Audible. The playback is clear, and I love the ability to increase the speed! I also appreciate the feature that allows multiple library access. Although I don't use the feature much, it's nice to be able to read magazines too. I wish it automatically bookmarked. The biggest drawback is the wait times, but it's a public library, so it's expected.

Great functionality. I signed up with my library and have access to seven other libraries with my one card. If there's a wait list at one library, oftentimes it's available at another. I listen to a lot of audio books, and you can adjust the speed of the recording. I set my speed at 1.25. Still sounds great, and adds a little urgency and extra excitement to the dialog. You can download and listen offline, and auto return means no late fees. Love it!
