ExPLORE (Experiment, Play, Learn, Observe, Read, Examine) is a series of monthly hands-on science workshops for children in grades 4-6, covering a wide variety of topics.

Meeting at the Wollaston Branch Library on the 3rd Wednesday of each month from 7:00-8:00 pm each workshop has a short portion of instruction and then exploration and experimentation. Topics range from forensic science to bubbles and parents/caregivers are welcome to participate as well alongside their children.

Join us at the Wollaston Library on Wednesday, November 15th at 7:00 pm for Forensic Science.

Fingerprints, footprints, soil samples, ink samples, and more will be used in this mystery science workshop. Get your bag of clues and see if you can match them to a suspect using a variety of scientific tools. Observation and deduction are the key skills we’ll be using while examine soil under microscopes, do color chromatography, and more. Every bag of clues leads to a different answer! Will you find the right one?
