Summary
Group of 78 original Wee Pals cartoon strips drawn by cartoonist Morrie Turner (1923-2014). Three and four-panel strips drawn in pan and ink on illustration board, each measuring approximately 5"x16". All have a day and month date, and the printed name "Morrie" on them.

Morrie Turner was the first African-American comic strip artist whose work was widely syndicated in mainstream newspapers; creator of the first syndicated strip with a racially and ethnically mixed cast of characters, Wee pals.
