PROGRAMS & ACTIVITIES FOR TEENS These programs are for teens in grades 6-12 only.

Authors Unlimited 2024 Saturday, April 13 St. Joseph's University, Patchogue Authors Unlimited a free program that celebrates reading by connecting teens and authors. Attendees will hear from three dynamic authors of YA literature, first at a panel and then in solo sessions. Books will be available for purchase and to get signed. Attendees can earn 3 hours of community service credit for attending and filling out a survey at the end of the day.

100 Books Before Graduation Take the challenge and read 100 books before high school graduation! For every 20 books you read, you'll receive a prize. You can start as early as Grade 6. You cannot read the same book twice.

Passport Services by Appointment We serve first-time applicants, minor applicants, adult applicants whose most recent passport was issued as a minor, and applicants who have lost their passports.
|
|
Hours are by appointment only. You may also call us at 631-286-0818 x1. Our service cannot renew a passport. Printed forms are available by the Reference Desk.

South Country Library patrons may renew their card or apply for a new one online. Images of photo ID and address verification are required. Or visit our Patron Services desk at the front of the library for the same service.

Services for Veterans and Job-Seekers
|
|
Helps veterans and their families navigate the VA bureaucracy, provides academic tutoring, and assists with employment transition.
|
Provides various tools to help with every step of the job search including résumé assistance, interview preparation, and career planning.
|
|
Each service provides live virtual assistance every day from 2:00 - 11:00 PM. A current library card is required.
