Shay is excited to have a chance to expand her yoga studio. When Colin, her high-school crush, asks her to help him get healthy after a heart scare, she appreciates his offer of extra money. In spite of their differences and how they irritate each other, they begin to realize that yoga and nutrition lessons aren't the only activities they hope to share. Colin is questioning his vision of what his life should be, which includes getting a raise at his stressful corporate job and finding the perfect girlfriend. Shay is encouraged by her five best friends to find someone who makes her happy and who values her. This is the fourth installment in St. John's Six Gems series featuring this group of friends, including Her One Night Consequence (2023). Shay and Colin have good chemistry, yet they are slow to recognize how strong their feelings are for each other, resisting their attraction as they try to sort out what they want in life. St. John offers plenty of heat and emotion in this appealing romance.
