We are excited to be hosting an exciting environmental presentation by Ken Wolslegel, Environmental Scientist
Earth 2024 shines a light on critical issues we face in the modern world. It provides a global perspective of 21st-Century climate change, man’s impact on the natural environment and our own long-term survival. Ken shares ways to make a meaningful difference towards a sustainable future. Set to music, it is uniquely delivered in a way that feels like watching a live documentary. With a powerful and moving message, you’ll feel inspired to live a greener life and to support a healthy planet for all life on Earth!

About the Presenter: After living in Los Angeles, and Philadelphia for 20 years, Ken is raising two kids in his childhood home in Woodstock, CT. where he grew up in the 1970’s and 80’s (and took a healthy environment for granted). For the first half his career, as an environmental scientist, Ken investigated and worked on cleaning up over 1,000 sites across the U.S. For the next half, he worked in the insurance industry, evaluating the operations of some of the largest contractors and manufacturers in the world, as well as contaminated “Superfund” sites, for coverage with environmental insurance.  AIG was the largest insurance company in the world, and in the early 2000s, he helped them establish their nascent position on climate change and represented them on climate change at industry events. Ken founded a nonprofit organization called Future Earth, which worked with Connecticut schools, teaching about the environment.
