Springtime Picture Bingo at the Harris Branch was a blast this evening! Children were overjoyed as one after the other yelled “BINGO,” which qualified each winner to pick and choose a small fun prize. A second session of Springtime Picture Bingo for little ones will be held next Friday at the downtown #MPHPL! Registration is required, and currently, we have nine seats open. Historian and preservationist, Susanna Ernst presented From Belgium to Mishawaka: West End Story as our American Heritage Spotlight guest speaker tonight. Ernst was born and raised in Mishawaka and is the author of Hooligan Heights: Mishawaka's Wild West. Those in attendance learned how Mishawaka's West End neighborhood became one of the most prominent Belgian districts in the United States. Our #MPHPL American Heritage Spotlight series will resume in September. Thank you to all who attended.

During our #MPHPL Make with Us event, adults discovered the art of crafting mini quilled flowers. Using just paper and patience, they crafted stunning arrangements. If you couldn't make it to today's session, another one is scheduled for next week.
