Hygee Junk Journaling: Through Grief and Trauma In-Person

Grief is a powerful emotion. Whether it’s a loved one or your own emotional trauma, we’ll be opening a space to work creatively through some of it with Hygge junk journaling. Hygge is the Danish feeling of being comfortable in the present moment and the simplicity of life. Feel free to wear comfy clothes or bring a lap blanket.

We’ll offer resources and briefly discuss grief’s stages, then instruct you on creating and filling a 6-inch square memory or artistic junk journal.

We’ll have some examples to help creativity flow. Feel free to bring your own materials for your project.

Please come 15 minutes early if you need help printing a couple pictures of a loved one. Beverages provided.

Registration is required. Register in person at the Rathdrum Library or by phone at 208-687-1029.
