Helping Hands: A Partnership Between Norwell Public Library and Norwell Food Pantry

Continuing through January

Uncertainty around federal funding for SNAP benefits, along with food insecurity, can be a cause of undue stress for some community members, especially around the holidays. This year, Norwell Public Library is partnering with the Norwell Food Pantry for Helping Hands, a way to support those in need of help from the food pantry. We invite library visitors to select a mitten from our Helping Hands display, purchase the item(s) listed on the mitten, and return them to the library. All donations will be dropped off at the Norwell Food Pantry on a regular basis. The tentative end date for this is Monday, February 2, 2026.
Help us lend our neighbors a helping hand this winter!
