End of Summer Reading Mini Golf

Join One Up Games as they take over the Norwell Public Library with a full 9 hole LED mini golf set! Players will be able to play all holes throughout the event.


Priority given to those who register. Please register each member of your group separately. Walk-ins admitted if time and space permit.

Meet Annie Gee our August exhibitor on August 2nd at a drop-in reception from 1-3pm. 

Annie is a nature and therapeutic photographer, artisan, storyteller, nature lover, and holistic healer. She is connected to the community as an active member of several south shore art associations and a supporter of nature centers and wildlife sanctuaries across Massachusetts.

Beat the heat and catch a movie! Bring a blanket to sit on and snacks if you wish-- but please no peanut products. No registration. Caregivers must remain with children under the age of 8.

Pick up the week of

Pick up the materials to make a twirlgig paper spinner. All ages but probably better suited to ages 5 and up. Registration required to secure your kit. You may pick up any time during the week. Thanks to the Norwell Garden Club for this month's craft!

Learn to play the Pokémon Trading Card Game with One Up Games! Each participant will get a free starter deck, hands-on instructions, and time for trading. This program is for kids ages 8 and up and registration is required. (This event is rescheduled from July.)

Needle Punch Craft

Join the YA librarian in learning how to do needle punch and make a design to bring home once you're finished! All supplies will be included. 


What is a punch needle?

A punch needle is a manual tool used for embroidery or rug making that creates a field of tightly-packed loops of thread or yarn on a woven fabric substrate.


This program is for those in grades 6 through 12 and their guardians. Adults are welcome to sign up on August 6.

Jigsaw Puzzle Competition

Do you love puzzles? 

Can your team complete a jigsaw puzzle faster than your friends and neighbors?

Each team will receive the same 500 piece puzzle provided by the library. The team that finishes first or completes the most before time wins!


Adults, teens, and families with children aged 10+ are welcome to participate.

The circumstances surrounding the death of crime novelist Harlan Thrombey are mysterious, but there's one thing that renowned Detective Benoit Blanc knows for sure -- everyone in the wildly dysfunctional Thrombey family is a suspect. Gentle Yoga Flow and Stretch

This is a Yang style class which focuses more on the larger muscle groups with slower, thoughtful and accessible movements, mostly on the ground, combined with gentle stretching. The class also includes breathwork and meditation to help center and calm the mind to to facilitate the connection of the mind, breath, body, and spirit.


All levels are welcome, with a focus on beginners and advanced beginners.
